We don't have that much information on these products as they are usually supplied OEM but we have managed to obtain a quantity from Federal Signal at a very competitive price.

They are 12/24 Volt LED matrix signs that can be programmed via a PC or the supplied remote control. They are suitable for mounting on the rear parcel shelf of vehicles by using the supplied bracket and are controlled via the infra red remote control. These signs can also be fitted into lightbars or somewhere that is not line of sight for the remote control however, a remote control extender would then be required.

Programming can be via the supplied remote control or via a PC with the supplied software and serial computer lead. We found programing via the PC much easier than the remote.

A host of programming options are available with different size text, flashing effects, repeat modes etc. 100 messaes may be programmed into the unit.

It is supplied with software, a serial programming lead (if your computer does not have a serial output you can purchase a USB to serial port converter from eBay for a few pounds), remote control + batteries and large 'L' shaped bracket which attaches to the rear of the unit via double sided tape and can then be screwed onto a parcel shelf or similar surface.

Although we have not tried it as yet we think the unit should also be able to be secured to a rear window by using our 'L' bracket sucker kit. (on our site HERE) You would however need to find a couple of slightly longer screws than those supplied to secure the brackets to the message unit.
