The Federal signal Vama Smartsign LSG700 is a foldable LED Matrix sign with ten characters of 7x5 LED's., formed by a compact and undecovered metalic housing, designed to be installed on the rear parcel shelf of a vehicle. Its automatic folding system allows the driver maximum visibility when the sign is not in use.
It offers the user the possibility of programming, in the vehicle up to 200 messages with alphanumeric or graphic characters. It is ideal for use a a message warning system for traffic control for use by Motorway Maintenance, Recovery and Emeregency Service Vehicles.
The SmartSign Series has two primary components - the LED sign and the LCD700 control head. The optional TPL700 programming terminal or the SmartSign Message Editor pc software may also be purchased to alow you to custom the messages yourself.
The LCD700 control head features a back-lit LCD screen to display the messages , enabling selection from inside the vehicle.
The optional TPL700 is a programming terminal with a back-lit LCD screen that enables
in the vehicle the editing and programming on the LCD700 control head, of
up to 200 messages, steady or flashing, of up to 8 lines and 10 characters
per message, with Spanish and English alphabets plus special graphic
characters (direction arrows and squares). A single TPL700 allows the programming of one LCD700 or multiple control heads for a complete fleet.
The optional SmartSign Message Editor is pc software for the editing and download of the 200 programmable messages to the LCD700 which if used via a laptop computer can be used in the vehicle to edit the messages without having to remove the unit. In addition, it has a wide library of the most usual messages in different countries.

Enables the user to program the signalling modes:
Right sequence, left sequence, centre-outwards sequence and centre-outwards flashing mode.
“Squares” graphic character.
Enables the user to program the signalling modes of a Right sequence, left sequence and centre-outwards sequence.
Both graphic characters enables to display a warning signal of an obstacle on the road and to manage the traffic flow.
If the optional programming software or terminal is not required please provide us with a list of up to 200 messages/signs you require to be programmed into the unit and we will program it for you prior to dispatch for only £12.50 + VAT.
