Invented by an American Police Officer, the LED flare safety light is an essential piece of equipment for first response police, highways agency, fire service and other emergency services.

Unlike flashlights with alkaline batteries, or chemical light sticks, these LED flare units can handle extreme temperatures, can be used in HAZCHEM situations (intrinsically safe) and feature an impressive 10 year shelf life using lithium batteries that won't ever leak.

All LED Flare safety lights have 10 light patterns programmed including an SOS pattern and solid on. Depending on the light pattern, up to 150 hours on replaceable batteries and 100 hours on rechargeable batteries can be achieved.

The LED Flare safety light emits 360 degree of ultra bright light from an array of 16 LED's visible for over 16km (10 miles) from the air and 900m (3000ft) at ground level at night. Visibility in the day is approximately 300m (1000ft) dependant on diode colour.

With no moving parts, an hermetic seal and robust construction the LED flare's can withstand road traffic conditions and can be used in water up to 25m (80ft) deep - they even float. Designed to meet MilSpec-Std 810 for shock vibration and water resistance.
